Live Abundantly!® is a registered pro-active organisation (CAC/IT/No. 95723) committed to investing in our communities and promoting positive social change™. Live Abundantly!® is an avant-garde organisation based on integrity which is intentionally dedicated to a bold purpose through identifying creative solutions focused on action-enabled collaborations with a keen vision on accountability to the community.

Launched in 2017, Live Abundantly!® (www.livesabundantly.com) has four key objectives. Firstly, to create an avenue for social consciousness and discourse as we strive to uphold the civil liberties of women and children regardless of their socio-economic standing. Secondly, to make education accessible for children who are marginalised by poverty and physiological differences. Thirdly, to empower youth and women seeking economic and social representation in the society. Empowerment through the understanding of human rights and job preparedness enables full and active participation in the economic sphere which leads to economic viability and participation in the socio-economic and political spheres of society. Fourthly, to awaken the urgency of protecting the planet through this solutions-driven and educational platform which incorporates studies and insights into how we address the pressing problems and their implications for the global society, particularly the vulnerable which are a focal point of our mission.

Live Abundantly!® addresses the high prevalence of violence against vulnerable groups including women, children and the physiologically challenged. We also pay particular attention to the issues of Child Marriage, Child Labour and the welfare of Children in Internally Displaced Camps (IDPs). In the African society, there remains a strong theory that women are inferior thus men (brothers, partners, husbands, religious leaders and even law enforcement) presume they have a right to subject women and children particularly girls to all forms of gender violence, honour crimes, human trafficking and irregular migration.

We endorse a change in mindset through education, dialogue, advocacy, legislation and  the elevation of victims’ voices without fear of repercussion or social stigma. We aim to create a society where all citizens regardless of social standing and physiology can access education, thereby improving their ability to contribute to the progress and welfare of society. We support the education of women because it expands their awareness of their role in the future of their children and the development of the nation.

Live Abundantly!® has four established key programmes: The Children’s Awareness Initiative, The Educational Scholarship Programme, Work Training Empowerment and our latest venture…EarthO2 which awakens the urgency of protecting the planet through solutions-driven education and action. We also plan to inaugurate a Young Leaders and Innovation Scheme which encourages diversity and inclusion whilst emphasising equity and equality amongst young persons, particularly girls by developing leaders and thinkers for the Twenty-First Century.

We are proud of our partnerships with The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states respectively, as well as business and community stakeholders and other non-governmental organisations.

As an organisation, we utilise the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Nos. 3,4,5,8,10,13,16 which are in alignment with our ethos. We strive to achieve our mission through the creation of social cognisance by enhancing the lives of children particularly girls, youth and women, and children through an intentional focus on education, training, awareness, advocacy and empowerment.

Our current projects, Live Abundantly!® ChangeMaker Equity and Equality™ and Ring the Bell-Invest In Our Children™ emphasise our pledge to the United Nations Decade of Action which calls on stakeholders to address and initiate solutions of poignant issues such as poverty, education, health, climate change, peace and security particularly at a time when the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted any semblance of normalcy and the disparities amongst genders has been played bare and the level of violence against women and girls is astounding.

We believe through education, equality, health and security measures we can open the gateway to productive and fulfilling participation in the Twenty-First Century whilst increasing the participation of women in roles of leadership and decision-making. The empowerment of women and girls is critical to the advancement of society as well as the survival of humanity and the de-escalation of violence and discrimination. It is our collective Human Right to access these intrinsic opportunities necessary to access education, maintain physical and mental well-being, access employment or economic resources and participate in our community in order to Thrive.

Live Abundantly!®  believes each human life is invaluable and the right to live with dignity to the fullest potential, happily, prosperously and respectfully  should not be breached by an individual or group based on their bias and/or resentment. All citizens, particularly women and girls, must feel secure in the society as prescribed by the law. We must collectively strive for an equitable and inclusive global society which honours the rights of all citizens and applies appropriate legal redress to all forms of violence, corruption, inhumane treatment and unjust brutality without room for impunity. Furthermore, we must accept the differences and diversity of peoples as fundamental to global citizenship.

Our Cause

  • Violence and Abuse: The Live Abundantly!® addresses the high prevalence of violence against vulnerable groups – women, children and the physiological challenged. Though there is global awareness of the abuse against children and women, there is no legislation which condemns and demands the mandatory prosecution of perpetrators in Nigeria. In the African society, there remains a strong theory that women are inferior thus men (brothers, partners, husbands, religious leaders and even law enforcement) presume they have the right to subject women and children to abuse ranging from physical and sexual violence to acid attacks as well as trafficking and forced migration.

  • Educate Children: We endeavour to make education accessible to children plagued by physiological challenges and destitution because it is the key to economic and social development for individuals and society. The abandonment and massacre of children with birth defects in many developing countries is astounding and disturbing. Furthermore, the neglect of children due to poverty is heart-wrenching because it breeds psychological and emotional discord which can lead to violence and disruption in society.

  • Empower Women: Empowering women to know their rights and to prepare to participate in the economic sphere through education and job preparedness programmes changes the societal landscape. Women are better contributors to the social and economic development of their children, families and communities. By educating women, we open the door to participation in the Twenty-First century advancement and create a greater sense of worthiness. The empowerment of women is critical to the advancement of society.

Our Ethos

The Live Abundantly!® is dedicated to transforming the lives of women and children through social awareness, advocacy and education. We are also committed to increasing social cognisance of those who have been violated and/or marginalised by society due to poverty and birth defects.

We must do more to protect our children from the violence and neglect they suffer due to economic and social hardships. We must address these issues head-on if our children are to have a positive future which includes a role in nation-building and the continuity of society and its values. Progress involves every citizen from children to adults.

All citizens of the world deserve a chance to live happily and prosperously. Ensuring the respect and safety of women and children is essential to the equitability and viability of a society. Furthermore, accepting the differences and diversity of peoples is fundamental to global citizenship. It is our collective Human Right to thrive to our fullest potential with dignity by ensuring access to education and/or employment. Denying an individual the right to live with dignity and/or subjecting them to brutality is fundamentally unjust and inhumane. We believe each human life is invaluable and the right to live to the fullest potential should not be breached by an individual or group based on their bias and/or resentment. All citizens have a right to be treated with dignity and respect and to feel secure in society as prescribed by the law.
